INSTALLATION GUIDE

Ground games

Before installing your games. make sure your work environment is clean and dust-free. The floor must be dry and free of dirt.

— TILE AND TERRAZZO FLOORING

If you plan on waxing your game. please wait until the next day to apply the layers of wax in order to let the glue solvents evaporate. We recommend a minimum of 4 coats of wax.

— LINOLEUM FLOOR OR OTHER UNWAXED SURFACE

If you don’t polish your game. please wait 24 hours before allowing children to use it.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

– Pair of scissors
— Soft, dry cloth
— Plastic squeegee (included in your kit)

TRICK

— During the installation, it is possible to reposition the games if you need to do so. Gently lift a corner and pull upwards, trying not to stretch the film.

— Once the sticker has dried on the ground, it is impossible to reposition it without damaging it.

  • Using the scissors, roughly cut out each of the individual shapes in your set.
  • Arrange on the floor in such a way as to predetermine the location of each of the parts of the game.
  • Now it’s time to glue the shapes. Wipe the floor to remove any dust.
  • Peel off your shape from the backing. Using both hands, hold the shape so that it forms a U-curve.
  • Gently place the shape on the ground. Using the squeegee provided in your set, scrape from the middle to the ends of the design, holding it at a 45° angle and pressing down firmly. Do not crease.
  • Make sure there are no air bubbles left under the sticker and the entire surface has been scraped off.
  • Start again at step 3 with the next shape.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

Games on the wall

It is recommended to clean the walls before installation. Although the installation is ideal on a smooth wall, it is possible to stick the sets on the painted brick.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

– Pair of scissors
— Soft, dry cloth

TRICK

— If you have several shapes to stick on, you can fix them temporarily with sticking tape to get an overview of your wall.

  • Using the scissors, roughly cut out each of the individual shapes in your set.
  • Take the first form.
  • Completely peel off the backing of the sticker.
  • While being aligned with the place to stick, form a curve with the sticker in order to stick it evenly.
  • Using a rag. rub the form from the center to the sides in order to evacuate the trapped air.
  • If there are still air bubbles, pierce them with a knife and squeeze out the air once more.
  • Start again at step 3 with the next shape.

    INSTALLATION GUIDE

    risers

We use high tack vinyls to prevent the riser from peeling off over time. However, it is possible to reposition your vinyl at the beginning of the installation in order to correct an alignment.

Clean each of the risers with a broom and soap to remove encrusted dirt.

    MATERIALS PROVIDED WITH YOUR PURCHASE

    — Soft cloth
    — Alcohol 99%
    — Plastic squeegee

    TRICK

    — If your staircase is made of terrazzo, leave a margin of 1 cm at the top of the riser.

    — If your step is damaged, make sure you do not stick the vinyl on this part of the step.

    • Using the 99% alcohol provided in your installation kit, clean each of the risers to remove any soap or dirt residue.
    • To avoid positioning errors, we advise you to place the corresponding vinyl strips in front of each of the risers.
    • Start with the bottom riser. Peel off and fold back the backing over a length of one metre.
    • Line up parallel to the tread and stick the top corner to the riser while bringing your other hand closer to the riser to stick the two adhesive top ends there.
    • Peel off the rest of the backing and stick the rest of the strip to the riser.
    • Using the squeegee provided, press down on the vinyl from the center outwards to seal it in place. Use up and down movements.
    • Repeat step 3 for the next riser.
